American Hero

Today we went to see Yakov Smirnoff. His show was excellent with many jokes and laughter. Yakov is definitely my new hero. Among all the laughter that he shared he told his story of arriving in America. It made me proud to be American. In a week, a month, or a year will have forgotten many of his words but, I will not forget how he made me feel. If you are in Branson, you need to see this show.
I also made my last visit to the It's Magic magic shop in downtown Branson. If you do magic tricks or would like to learn Yak Williams will help you find the perfect trick. Made one last visit to the Branson Landing. The fire and water fountain plays at the top of each hour and is quite a show.

Branson day four

Today we did just a bit of downtown and the landing. Not really a lot of shopping but a nice quiet afternoon. In the evening we went to see Kirby and Bambi Vanburch. They put on a really excellent show.

Branson day 3

Today we did a little light shopping and sight seeing. We then went to the Sons of the Pioneers chuckwagon show. Check out http://www.sonsofthepioneers.org/ . The Sons of the Pioneers are the oldest continuous music group. They sing western style music not country and western but western as in cowboy. They have marvellous harmony. Some of their best known songs are Tumbling Tubleweeds and Cool Water. The meal was decent and the show was pretty good.

Branson Trip

Linda, Laminda and myself have arrived in Branson, Mo. as of yesterday. A good days journey with no major problems.

Today was relax and shop day. We visited the Titanic Museum. If you ever get a chance you need to see this attraction.
